Ken's February Book Recommendations
Here’s a very short list of the books I’ve been diving into this month.
This wonderful book tells the entire story of the creation of I Love Lucy and includes synopsis of every single episode. It has loads of pictures, and it is simply a joy to relive moments from one of the greatest comedies in the history of television.
As a Winston Churchill enthusiast, I read books about him all the time. But this one is special because we get to see the power behind the throne, a truly extraordinary woman who helped shape our destiny, Winston's fiesty and brilliant wife Clementine.
As a complement to the previous book, I am always dipping into this large and riveting collection of the personal letters between Winston and Clementine. They touch on the personal lives of these remarkable equals, as well as the political crises of the British nation from 1911 to 1965.
