Why are there two different versions of Lend Me A Tenor, and where can I find a copy of the old version?

I'm just curious as to why a different version was released, and where can I find a copy of the old version? Tenor was first produced in London’s West End, and then on Broadway. The first version of the play, published by Samuel French Ltd. in London, reflects the text of the play as it was produced in the West End. When Tenor came to Broadway, I did revisions during the rehearsals and the Samuel French Inc. acting edition, published in New York, reflects these changes. If you would like to purchase the earlier version of the script, Samuel French Ltd. has a book shop located 52 Fitzroy Street in London.
